My name is Irina Bulusheva. I am a filmmaker, visual artist, and bioinformatician.

For me, understanding the world has always happened through two intertwined paths: science and art. On one hand, I am a bioinformatician working in scientific research, with a PhD in physics and mathematics. On the other, creativity is how I process and express the vibrant, pulsating energy of life — through painting and collage, dramaturgy, filmmaking, and scientific illustration.

At some point, I realized I was exploring so many different creative directions that I needed a single space to keep them from getting lost. This website is my way of bringing them together and introducing my work to the world.
